Privacy Policy

Thank you for using Mirava. We take your privacy seriously. This policy explains what information the app handles and how it is used.

Your Photos

Mirava only accesses photos that you actively select with Apple's photo picker. AI Age, Age Detection, Future Baby, AI Beauty, AI Hairstyle, and Face Swap use the selected photo or photos and the generation choices you make, such as feature, style, age, gender, and beauty settings.

When you tap an Add Photo, Parent, Mom, or Dad photo area in an AI-powered feature, Mirava displays an AI Data Sharing permission screen before opening Apple's photo picker. This screen explains what data will be sent, who will receive it, and how it will be used. Nothing is sent unless you explicitly choose Allow and Continue. If you choose Not Now, the photo picker does not open and no photo is transmitted.

If you agree and later request an AI result, the selected photo or photos and generation choices are encrypted in transit and sent over HTTPS to Frame PhotoWorks' stateless service hosted by Cloudflare, Inc., then shared with Replicate, Inc., our third-party AI inference provider, solely to create the result you requested. No contacts, precise location, advertising identifier, unrelated photos, or complete photo library are included.

Frame PhotoWorks' Cloudflare service does not persist input photos or generated images in a database. Replicate processes the submitted data to run the requested model and make the result available to Mirava. We do not sell this data, use it for advertising, build an identified user profile from it, or authorize it for AI model training.

Cloudflare and Replicate are required to protect shared data to the same or an equivalent standard as described in this policy and as required by applicable law. They process the data only to provide infrastructure and the requested AI result on our behalf.

Photo Edit—including filters, rotation, and flipping—is processed entirely on your device. Photos used only with Photo Edit are not sent to Frame PhotoWorks, Cloudflare, Replicate, or any other AI provider.

The Age and Future Baby features are intended for entertainment only. Their results are generated effects, not medical or genetic predictions, and should not be treated as an accurate representation of anyone’s future appearance.

App Information and Purchases

Mirava may receive basic technical information, including your device type, iOS version, app version, crash reports, and subscription status. We use this information to keep the app working properly, fix problems, and manage access to paid features.

Payments and subscriptions are processed by Apple. Mirava does not receive or store your complete payment information.

Permissions and Your Choices

You may decline AI data sharing and continue using features that do not require cloud AI processing. If you agree, you can withdraw that permission at any time from Mirava's More > AI Data Sharing setting. After withdrawal, Mirava will not send another photo unless you give permission again.

You can manage camera and photo permissions at any time in iOS Settings. You can also delete photos and generated results saved on your device whenever you want. Because the processing service does not maintain a Mirava account or persistent database of submitted photos, it generally has no stored photo record tied to you after processing.

Please only upload photos that belong to you or that you have permission to use.

Children

Mirava is not intended for children under 13. Children should use the app only with permission from a parent or legal guardian.

Security and Policy Updates

We take reasonable steps to protect your information. However, no online service can guarantee complete security.

We may update this policy when Mirava changes or when legal requirements are updated.

Facial Data Collection, Use, Sharing, Storage, and Retention

For purposes of this Privacy Policy, “facial data” means the visual facial information contained in the one or two photos that a user actively selects through Apple’s photo picker. Depending on the feature, this may include a portrait photo, two parent photos, or a source photo used for Face Swap.

Mirava does not access Apple Face ID data or other device authentication data. Mirava does not create or maintain a biometric identity profile, permanent facial template, face embedding, facial-geometry database, or facial-recognition database. Mirava does not use facial data to identify or authenticate a person.

Facial data is used only to provide the AI feature requested by the user, including AI Age, Age Detection, Future Baby, AI Beauty, AI Hairstyle, and Face Swap. It is not sold, used for advertising, used to build an identified user profile, or authorized for AI model training.

After the user grants permission, the selected photo or photos are transmitted over HTTPS to Frame PhotoWorks’ stateless service hosted by Cloudflare, Inc., and then to Replicate, Inc. solely to generate the requested result.

Frame PhotoWorks’ Cloudflare Worker processes the request in memory and does not store facial data, input photos, or generated images in persistent storage. For predictions created through the Replicate API, Replicate automatically removes input parameters, input files, output values, output files, and prediction logs within one hour. Mirava does not retain a separate server-side copy.

Photos and generated results saved on the user’s device remain there until the user deletes them. Users may withdraw permission for future AI processing under More > AI Data Sharing. Privacy and deletion requests may be sent to cl121@framephotoworks.com.
